Dr. Chris Gammon Named Executive Director of Curriculum

The Orange County Schools Board of Education has approved Dr. Chris Gammon as the Executive Director of Curriculum. Dr. Gammon was formerly the principal at Gravelly Hill Middle School, and his new position will elevate him to become a member of the Superintendent's Cabinet.

Given Dr. Gammon's presence and leadership in the district, he is looking forward to hitting the ground running with his new role. "I'm humbled by the opportunity and look forward to continuing the great work we are doing in Orange County Schools on behalf of all students," remarked Dr. Gammon.

Before coming to Orange County Schools, Dr. Gammon worked for Mooresville Graded School District in school administration. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Guilford College, and he earned a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Michigan State University. Dr. Gammon was conferred his Doctorate in Education Leadership from Wingate University.
