Choice Schools applications for the 2020-2021 School Year will be available January 1, 2020.
Set up your Smart Choice Account
All families applying for a student transfer will need to set up a Parent/Guardian account. Go to Smart Choice to set up your Parent/Guardian account to submit Transfer and Admission applications.
IMPORTANT: When setting up your account, be sure to enter a valid email address and enable your email to accept messages from Smart Choice. Also, remember to retain your login and password receive important messages, view the status of your application, lottery seat offer, etc.

If your child will be attending school for the first time, or you have relocated to the Orange County Schools, please contact your child's school of assignment to enroll. You can find your child's assigned school by clicking here and searching your address.
Attendance Zone Information
District lines can be irregular so the best way to determine which school your child will attend is to utilize the Orange County Schools Assignment Locator.

Families that have moved to the district after or fewer than ten days prior to the posted deadline may apply for a transfer within ten days of receiving notice of the student's school assignment. Please contact the Office of Student Assignment for more information.
Tuition Rate for Discretionary Admission Students
Students admitted into the Orange County Schools that are living in an attendance zone for another school district will be charged tuition if accepted into our school district unless the student meets an exemption qualification listed in Policy 4120: Admission to the Orange County Schools. The anticipated tuition rate for the 2020-2021 school year is $4,352.25 and must be paid in full prior to July 1, 2020.

Current accepted forms of payment include cash, personal check, certified check, or money order. Orange County Schools does not currently accept Debit/Credit for tuition payments.
