Orange County Schools Congratulates National Board Certified Teachers

HILLSBOROUGH, NC 20 MARCH 2018- Effective teachers are crucial to the academic success of students, and accomplished teachers can boost that potential for success. Each year in districts throughout the nation, teachers apply for recognition as a National Board Certified Teacher. The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards issues the certification for teachers that have applied for and successfully met the requirements of the process. To become National Board Certified, teachers must demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills.

This year, Orange County Schools congratulates 5 teachers for earning their National Board Certification:

  • Tabitha Campbell (Cedar Ridge High School)
  • Patrick Dall (Cedar Ridge High School)
  • Sara Hurd (CW Stanford Middle School)
  • Andrea Perrone (New Hope Elementary School)
  • Christine Preddy (AL Stanback Middle School)

Additionally, Orange County Schools congratulates the following educators for completing the requirements for the renewal of their National Board Certification:

  • Andy Carter (Orange High School)
