Hope Carr - 6th Grade and 8th grade (last names A-L)
Mrs. Carr grew up in Hillsborough and graduated from Orange High School before heading to UNC Wilmington to study Psychology. After graduating, she moved to Durham to work in residential life at North Carolina School of Science and Math. During that time she attended North Carolina Central University and received her Masters in School Counseling. She has worked in Orange County Schools since 2004 and loves working her in home town. She lives in Hillsborough with her husband and 3 dogs.
Sallie Wintz - 7th Grade and 8th Grade (last names M-Z)
Sallie was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor's degree in Art Education. She moved to North Carolina and began working in mental health which sparked her interest in school counseling. Sallie attended Western Carolina University and received her Masters in School Counseling and has been working as a middle school counselor since 1990! Sallie lives in Carrboro and enjoys coaching volleyball, playing tennis, hiking and traveling!

Middle School 101 will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Below is a link to the Middle School 101 letter. It will have all of your information about what Middle School 101 is, when it takes place, and transportation information! Tours will be given to students during Middle School 101 on August 16, 2016. You will also be able to tour the school during our Open House in the fall (date to be determined).
