    Mrs. Blefko serves as the ESL Family Outreach Specialist for Orange County Schools.  From Colombia, South America--Mrs. Blefko has worked in Orange County for over ten years.

    Mrs. Blefko's position focuses on ESL events across the school district.  Parents Nights, Parent Groups and ESL support are just a few of the areas in which Mrs. Blefko offers support. These programs are designed to strengthen the home and school relations of our ESL community.

    Dawn Bagwell 

    Ms. Bagwell serves as the ESL Team Lead & Differentiation Coach. With twenty-one years of teaching experience in the US and abroad, Ms. Bagwell's role as an educator has helped coordinate a group of exceptional ESL teachers across the district.  These ESL teachers are a crucial component in our students adapting to their environments--both at home, at school and in the community.

    Emily Lewis

    Mrs. Lewis serves as the ESL Facilitator for Orange County Schools.  With nearly twenty years of experience working in education, she prides herself on offering coaching and support to teachers and administrators who work with English Learners.  Prior to coming to Orange County Schools, Mrs. Lewis worked for Alamance-Burlington School System as both a district-level ESL Specialist for Secondary Schools and a classroom teacher.  She earned her Bachelor of Science from UNC-Greensboro and her Master of School Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill.

    Dr. Chris Gammon 

    Currently serving as the Executive Director of Curriculum in Orange County Schools. Dr. Gammon was formerly the principal at Gravelly Hill Middle School, and he is now a member of the Superintendent's Cabinet. Before coming to Orange County Schools, Dr. Gammon worked for Mooresville Graded School District in school administration and as a classroom teacher and coach. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Guilford College, and he earned a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Michigan State University. Dr. Gammon was conferred his Doctorate in Education Leadership from Wingate University.
