    Computer Login

    • All computer logins are related to your name and your birthdate.
      • firstname.lastnameSbirthdate
    • In the example below, the student is John Smith and his birthdate is May 22
      • Example: john.smithS22

    Computer Password

    • All new students must change their computer passwords. The new password must be at least 8 characters long.
    • We suggest you choose a word you will remember and alter it with numbers and symbols to make it more difficult for someone else to discover. John's favorite password is treefrog.
      • Example: Tr33frog!

    Chromebook Troubleshooting Steps

    Make sure the student laptop is up to date

    1. Turn on your Chromebook
    2. At the bottom right, select the time
    3. Select Settings 
    4. At the bottom of the left panel, select About Chrome OS
    5. Under "Google Chrome OS," you'll find which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook uses
    6. Select Check for updates
    7. If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically
    8. You may need to restart the computer once the update(s) run

    Remove Extensions

    1. Open Chrome.
    2. Select More  and then More tools and then Extensions.
    3. Next to the extension, you want to remove, select Remove.
    4. To confirm, select Remove.
    • Tip: To remove an extension that's a button on the browser toolbar, right-click the button and select Remove from Chrome.
