"Empoderando” translates to “empowering,” capturing the spirit of an event designed to celebrate Hispanic and Latino culture while bringing people together. This year’s theme, “Conectando con Nuestra Cultura,” or “Connecting with Our Culture,” highlights the importance of honoring cultural traditions and creating connections across the community.

The evening will feature student and community performances, cultural displays, interactive experiences and local craft and food vendors. Free health services will also be available through El Centro Hispano and Walgreens, including vaccinations and health screenings for children and adults.

Registration Process

To help us prepare for the event, guests are encouraged to register in advance by completing this registration form. All guests will be required to check in upon arrival; however, registering in advance will help ensure a quicker and smoother check-in experience.

Empoderando is open to the public, and attendees do not need to have a child enrolled in Orange County Schools to participate.
