Title I (Federal Support for Schools with High Numbers of Low-Income Families)
This program provides financial assistance through State educational agencies (SEAs) to local educational agencies (LEAs) and public schools with high numbers or percentages of children living at or below the poverty level to help ensure that all children meet challenging State academic content and student academic achievement standards.

Title I Services in Orange County Schools
Elementary schools with 50 percent or more of the students receiving free or reduced
meals must be served through Title I funds.
