• OCS Elementary School Designer RFQ Clarifications

Responses are due to Orange County Schools, Facilities no later than 2:00 p.m. on October 24, 2025. For further information, email Della Putney at della.putney@orange.k12.nc.us.

In accordance with North Carolina General Statutes § 115C-518 and § 160A-272, the Orange County  Board of Education (“Board”) intends to enter into a lease of the following Board-owned property:

• A portion of the former Partnership Academy building located at 1006 Storey Lane, Hillsborough, NC 27278.
• Deed Book 2801 at Page 509, Orange County Registry.

The Board intends to lease the property to Boomerang Youth, Inc., a North Carolina non-profit corporation (“Boomerang”) for a maximum term of five (5) years. Boomerang will pay the Board a starting annual rent of Forty-Three Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($43,200.00).

The Board intends to adopt a resolution authorizing the lease of the property described above at its next regular meeting, which is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on September 22nd, 2025. All persons interested in this lease are invited to attend the Board meeting.

Orange County Schools (“OCS”) is seeking proposals to obtain via purchase Valcom headends and Valcom accessories that meet or exceed the specifications provided herein: installed, wired to existing speakers/talkbacks, existing clocks, and programmed fully for the operation of all school needs.
