A. Project Name: New Hope Elementary School Building Enclosure Maintenance & Repair

D. General Scope of Work: Perform general exterior building enclosure maintenance and repair; including below-grade stormwater rehabilitation, facade cleaning, replacement of joint sealants, repointing of masonry veneer, and replacement of broken/ deteriorated veneer units.

1.2 BIDS

A. Sealed bids for the project will be received from bidders by the Owner at 200 E King Street, Hillsborough, North Carolina27278 until 1:00 PM on 05-21-2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

1.3 PROJECT DOCUMENTS

A. Electronic project documents may be obtained from the Engineer, REI Engineers, Inc., 9121 Anson Way, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27615, David Krekelberg, dkrekelberg@reiengineers.com at no cost.

1.4 BIDDING REQUIREMENTS

A. All bidders are hereby notified that they shall be properly licensed under the state laws governing their trades.

B. Bid security in the amount equal to not less than 5% of the gross amount of the bid is required.

C. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of the contract is required.

D. Submit questions to REI Engineers, Inc. in writing to the Project Manager's email address listed above no later than 5:00 PM at least 10 days prior to the bid due date.

Provide coverboard, self-adhering underlayment, and warrantable prefinished standing seam metal roof and flush seam metal wall panel systems.
