Natasha Mitchell Named April 2026 Classified Employee of the Month!

Congratulations to Natasha Mitchell, OCS Bus Driver, for being named the OCS Classified Employee of the Month for April 2026!

Natasha Mitchell was nominated by a colleague, and here’s why: 

“Natasha Mitchell consistently demonstrates a warm and welcoming attitude that sets the tone for students at the beginning and end of each school day. Her ever-present smile and positive energy create a safe, friendly environment on her bus, helping students feel comfortable, safe and valued.

“What truly sets Natasha apart is her commitment to building meaningful connections with the students she serves. She takes the time to learn their names and understand their personalities and needs. This level of care goes far beyond her daily responsibilities and reflects her genuine passion for her role.

“In addition to her kindness, she is incredibly dependable. She is always punctual, reliable, and ready to support the team in any way needed. Whether stepping in to assist others or adapting to changing situations, she approaches every task with professionalism. When one of our bus drivers had to retire abruptly, Natasha, along with a few other bus drivers, stepped in and took over part of the route, adding on many additional students and stops to their routes.
