Board Notes, December 11 Special Called Board Meeting

Read a brief summary of the Orange County Board of Education's special called meeting on Thursday, December 11. The regular meeting of Monday, December 8 was canceled for the safety of the public due to inclement weather. At this meeting, Board members read aloud and reaffirmed the Board’s February 2, 2025, Resolution on Support for Immigrant Students and Families. School Champions Meeting This Wednesday

The first meeting of OCS School Champions is Wednesday, December 17 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. by Zoom webinar. School Champions are current OCS parents or guardians who have applied and are approved to volunteer for this parent advisory to help OCS improve two-way communications with families. Applications are still open to serve during the 2025-2026 school year. This virtual meeting is open to the public. Spanish interpretation will always be available. The link will be posted December 17 on the application page.
