Graduation 2025, June 13

Congratulations graduates! This year’s traditional high school ceremonies will be on Friday, June 13 at the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill, at 3:00 p.m. for Orange High School and 7:00 p.m. for Cedar Ridge High School. Details: Doors open for guests one hour before graduation (OHS 2:00 p.m. CRHS 6:00 p.m.). Parking opens at 12:00 p.m. Free parking is available (use this map at UNC) in the Manning Lot, Bowles Lot and Craige Deck, and handicapped parking is available at the Williamson Lot. Back To School Fair August 9

Find everything you need to help your child succeed in 2025-2026! Join us on Saturday, August 9 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. at Orange High School. Open to all families, no matter where you live or go to school. Pre-register now and let us know your preference for programs at the fair. Please share!

Free Meals for Children This Summer

All children 18 and under qualify for free meals from OCS School Nutrition Services this summer. Visit our website for detailed schedules to find daily meals, and click here to register for meal boxes with five days of breakfast and lunch.

Bus Transportation

OCS will be sending news to individual families by email about requesting bus transportation for the 2025-2026 school year. If you have any questions about your child’s bus assignment for the coming year, do not hesitate! Call OCS Transportation (919) 732-2531 or your child’s school, and thank you!

Bus Driver Training Class

Looking for extra income in a job where you help students succeed every day? Become an OCS Bus Driver! Next training class meets June 23-27, 2025 at 920 Corporate Drive, Hillsborough with only 25 seats available. Click for information and call before June 19 to reserve your seat!
