OCS Remote Learning Day Friday, February 21, 2025 - Facilities Closed

 

Dear Orange County Schools Community,

Friday, February 21, 2025 will be the third Remote Learning Day for Orange County Schools.

This is a school day with students learning at home, and all schools and facilities will be closed. All athletics and after-school activities for Friday are canceled.

With snow melting and freezing again on roadways in very low temperatures overnight, secondary roads will continue to be hazardous for travel on Friday. Students in all grade levels (K-12) will be in Remote Learning with materials provided by teachers. See updates here.

What If I Need Help?

If you have questions or need support during a Remote Learning Day: 

• Contact your child’s teacher. 
• Call your child’s school.
• For Chromebook issues:

  • Email TechHelp@orange.k12.nc.us (include school name and a description of the problem) 
  • Call 919-245-4014 (Mon–Fri, 7AM to 5PM) for technology help in Remote Learning
