OCS Remote Learning Day #2 Tuesday, January 27, 2026 - Facilities Closed

Tuesday, January 27, 2026 will be the second Remote Learning Day for Orange County Schools.

This is another school day with students learning at home, and all schools and facilities will be closed. All athletics and after-school activities for Tuesday are canceled.

With very low temperatures tonight, roads will be icy and unsafe for travel on Tuesday. Students in all grade levels (K-12) will be in remote learning. Plans and resources for students and families were sent home by schools earlier this week, along with this announcement from the district (for weather readiness) Sunday evening.

A decision has not been made about school on Wednesday, and the district will make that announcement as early as possible on Tuesday.

What If I Need Help?

If you have questions or need support during a Remote Learning Day: 

• Contact your child’s teacher. Use email or other platforms (such as Class Dojo) to contact your child’s teacher directly.
• Call your child’s school. Phone lines will be monitored, and schools will answer voicemails as soon as possible.
• In case of Chromebook issues:

Please remember, we will announce a decision for Wednesday as early as possible on Tuesday.
