Mrs. Karen Riley Named September 2025 OCS Classified Employee of the Month!

Congratulations to Karen Riley, data manager at Gravelly Hill Middle School, for being named OCS Classified Employee of the Month for September 2025! 

This program organized by OCS Human Resources recognizes classified employees—non-licensed staff—who provide essential support services to the school system and work in positions such as:

• Administrative staff (e.g., office assistants, clerks)
• Custodians and maintenance workers
• Bus drivers and transportation staff
• Teacher assistants (paraprofessionals)
• School nutrition staff
• Technology support personnel

 

 

Mrs. Riley was nominated by more than one OCS staff member, and here is why:

“Mrs. Riley is an amazing colleague, mentor, and person! She has supported almost all the new data managers by training and sharing knowledge with them, and she always steps up to help when the school or administrators need an extra hand.

“She also communicates extremely well with Gravelly Hill parents, families, and stakeholders about enrollment, helping them navigate all the requirements and necessary data. We cannot do school without her!”
