OCS Celebrates Disability Awareness Week
Let’s celebrate Disability Awareness Week from March 17 to 21, 2025 in Orange County Schools!
Each day has a theme to promote collaboration, understanding, and support for students with disabilities:
- Monday, 3/17 – Advocacy Awareness! Wear Red
- Tuesday, 3/18 – I have an IDEA*! Wear Orange
- Wednesday, 3/19 – Adapt with Me! Wear Green
- Thursday, 3/20 – A Day in My Shoes! Wear Fun Socks
- Friday, 3/21 – Celebrating You! Wear Blue
Schools are joining in to spark meaningful conversations and show support through these daily themes. We can work together to create a culture where every student feels valued and celebrated! (*IDEA = Individuals with Disabilities Education Act)
