OCS Strategic Plan Community Listening Session: Cedar Ridge High School, November 3, 2025

The very first Community Listening Session for the 2026-2031 OCS Strategic Plan was a success!

Thank you to the community members who joined Orange County Schools staff and leadership in engaging conversation about the goals and priorities of the district for the upcoming five year strategic plan.

“The OCS Strategic Plan will serve as our guiding framework for the decisions and priorities over the next five years. We often describe a strategic plan as a roadmap. It is essential to have an organized and intentional roadmap, so that we move forward in alignment and intentionally,” said Superintendent Dr. Danielle Jones.

“The future is bright in Orange County Schools, and tonight we will work together to envision a bold and innovative future for our children, one where each and every student has the ability to grow, develop, and flourish.”

From December through February, OCS staff and leadership will continue to engage in meaningful dialogue with the community at listening sessions across the district. Join us at one of the following sessions to share your thoughts and make a difference in Orange County Schools:

Community Listening Session:

  • December 2, Orange High School

Neighborhood Listening Sessions:

  • January 7, Fairview Neighborhood
  • January 16, Cedar Grove Community
  • February 3, Efland Community
  • February 12, Spanish-Speaking Convening (New Hope Elementary)
  • February 24, Orange Grove

We look forward to the continued collaboration with the community in making an impact in the lives of our students and staff!  #orangecountyfirst
