Orange County Schools Announces Community Listening Sessions

Community members are encouraged to help build the future of OCS in the next five-year strategic plan.

Orange County Schools is hosting listening sessions to involve community members in shaping the future for our local public schools. Attendees will be invited to share feedback on the OCS Strategic Plan, a roadmap that ensures the district continues to improve outcomes for students.

Superintendent Dr. Danielle Jones invited all to learn about the state of Orange County Schools and get involved in setting priorities to help students succeed in life:

“We are excited to build the OCS 2026-2031 Strategic Plan with our whole community,” said Dr. Jones.

Schedule for Community Listening Sessions

Listening sessions are scheduled as follows. No registration is required. Translation and interpretation will be provided at all community listening sessions:

  • Monday, November 3, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
    Cedar Ridge High School
1125 New Grady Brown School Rd.

  • Tuesday, December 2, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
    Orange High School

All are welcome and encouraged to attend: students, families, staff, and all community members. Community input will inform the next version of the strategic plan, which will be presented for approval by the Orange County Board of Education in spring 2026.
