You Belong Here - Year-End Message from Superintendent Dr. Monique Felder
“You belong here.” If we have worked all year to make one thing real for every student, employee, and member of our families and community—it is that you belong here in Orange County Schools, and we appreciate you for exactly who you are. We have worked tirelessly this year as a learning community to overcome barriers and grow together. Our mission is to “engage, challenge, and inspire” each child who comes to our schools in a safe, inclusive environment where they can reach their maximum potential. You—our OCS families—have helped every step of the way, as valued partners in your child’s education.

Welcome Back! Updates from Superintendent Dr. Monique Felder
Welcome back to school! We are happy to be back in school and growing together, and we want to help everyone in our learning community make the most of every day to finish the 2022-2023 school year strong. It takes all of us for students to feel welcomed and learn in a safe, inclusive environment. And difficult days – whether next door, in Nashville, or Rolling Fork – those days leave their mark on all of us as well. Together with you, I know we are sending our hearts to those who have experienced deep losses. That’s why as we come back to school, if you are seeing this message I thank you personally for your commitment to being a source of stability and strength for children in all you do.
