You will receive a free and/or reduced meal form for the 2020-2021 school year in the mail. While we are currently not in our school buildings, it is extremely important that this form is filled out and returned to us. Completing the form supports the district with providing meals to many students at no charge. We are also able to receive reimbursements for meals provided to students as part of the National School Lunch Program.
If you have already submitted a form for this school year, thank you. If you have not completed a form or you are unsure, please take the time to complete this form. Only one form per family is necessary. There are multiple ways you can return the completed form, including returning it to the Child Nutrition Office at 920 Corporate Drive, Hillsborough, NC 27278. You are also welcome to drop off a completed form at your child’s school or any Orange County School location including the Welcome Center (920 Corporate Drive), our King Street office (200 East King Street, Hillsborough), or any of our daily meal drop-off locations.
You can also take a photo of the completed application and email the photo to Orange County School’s Interim Director of Child Nutrition Margie Davison at email@example.com or text the photo to (984) 260-8301. Completed forms can also be faxed to (919) 245-4147. If you need assistance completing the form, please contact your school’s social worker, all you need to do is contact your school.
