OCS Announces New Administrator for C.W. Stanford Middle School
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!
Mrs. Jayme Bell-Williams
We are excited to inform you that the Orange County Board of Education approved Mrs. Jayme Bell-Williams as the next Principal of C.W. Stanford Middle School at their May 10 meeting. Mrs. Bell-Williams has been with Orange County Schools since August 2011 and is currently serving as the Principal of Central Elementary School. Mrs. Bell-Williams received her Bachelor Degree in Science Biology, Licensure in Middle Grades Science and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Curriculum and Instruction (Middle Grades Education) from North Carolina Central University. In addition, Mrs. Bell-Williams has extensive experience in middle school education during her career working as a middle school cultural arts teacher, middle school AVID teacher, and middle school instructional coach. Mrs. Bell-Williams is excited to join the CWS Family.
“I have truly enjoyed my time working at Central Elementary, and as much as I will miss my Eagle family, I am equally as excited to join the C.W. Stanford community! I am returning to my middle-school roots with a new perspective and understanding based on the last ten years I have spent at the elementary school level.
“Working in Orange County Schools, I have witnessed how dedicated and passionate the CWS community is about its students and school, and look forward to joining, engaging with, and leading such an extraordinary team,” said Mrs. Bell-Williams.
Her first official day with CWS will be July 1, 2021. However, she will be working with Mr. Roche and other staff over the next few weeks to ensure a smooth transition. In addition, OCS is planning a virtual meet and greet for students, staff and parents in the near future.
Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Bell-Williams to the C.W. Stanford Family.
