Important Update on Summer Meals!

Even if you are not in school, summer can be a time to continue learning, growing and having a lot of fun! There are so many wonderful things to experience in the summertime! Hunger does NOT have to be one of them!

Orange County Schools will continue to provide FREE meals throughout the summer!

Meals are available for ALL children ages 0-18 Monday through Friday from now until July 30, except the week of July 5-9.

There are NO eligibility requirements and NO registration is necessary! 

These nutritional meals (one hot lunch and one breakfast) may be picked up from the following sites from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.:

Gravelly Hill Middle
Grady A. Brown Elementary
New Hope Elementary
Pathways Elementary

**Please note!

Beginning July 12 …

Meal pick-up will ALSO be from the Efland-Cheeks Community Center.

There, nutritious meals will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. THROUGH July 30.

NCDPI has enrolled 184 sponsors across the state to provide FREE, healthy meals this summer to children and adolescents ages 0-18, anytime school is out.
